My partner and I purchased into a pre-development condo in Toronto in 2016. In March of 2021, four and a half years after our purchase date, we finally got the keys to the new pad!
Although waiting four and a half years for the condo was challenging, it also had it’s perks:
My partner and I were able to come up with a game plan on how we wanted our space to look and feel. Not only was the aesthetic important, but space planning was critical since the unit we purchased was only 530 sqft (yes - you read that correctly!). The extra time allowed us to prepare and have conversations around organizational plans, and even custom solutions to help make the space practical, while remaining chic and contemporary.
Time to “save”. We had time to curate belongings for our home that we absolutely loved by saving for the items we really wanted (which basically means that I started purchasing everything on my mood board before we moved in).
Over the past few months, we’ve been able to move in to start making our house a home! More updates on the bedroom and bath coming soon!
